About

Having grown up in East Africa and now living at the foot of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in Amerongen, my approach to photography is rooted in a simple practice: observing wildlife and landscapes through natural light, scale, and composition.

I keep processing to a minimum, preferring to present subjects as they actually appeared in the field, or getting as close to that moment as i can.

Great Crested Grebe floating on calm, sunlit water at sunset with three downy chicks riding on her back, casting soft rippling reflections.

In my career as a wildlife photographer I’ve exhibited in galleries in Rome, London, and Vienna, I established this site as a central archive for the project. The work is organized into four core collections: Landscapes, Monochrome, Color, and Avian.

Close-up black and white photograph of an elephant's face, showing textured skin, eye, and part of its trunk, as well as a tusk weathered with age.

While the galleries represent a broader personal record as well as my latest images, a small, curated selection is made available as physical prints.

Each piece is produced on archival Hahnemühle Cotton Rag paper to preserve the fine detail and tonal range of the original exposure.
